Introduction to Module 6 – The Fundamental Skills of the Ikigai Coach

Welcome to module 6 of our training to become a professional Ikigai Coach. This module is dedicated to the fundamental skills that every coach must master in order to excellently guide their clients on the path to their ikigai.

We will explore in detail 10 key skills, ranging from essential soft skills such as active listening, empathy, and presence, to relational skills such as powerful questioning, constructive feedback, and managing emotions. We will also examine how to cultivate intuition, adaptability, and ethics so as to offer quality service that is respectful and honest.

For each skill, we will alternate theoretical input, concrete examples, practical exercises, and testimonials from experienced coaches. The aim is to allow you to slowly develop your posture and tools as an Ikigai Coach, by integrating the right practices and nurturing your uniqueness.

Throughout this module, you will be invited to experiment with these skills in your coaching practice, through role-plays, case scenarios, and supervised sessions. You will learn how to draw on your strengths and identify your areas for improvement, in a dynamics that is both supportive and stimulating.

By cultivating these fundamental skills, you will lay a firm foundation for authentic, effective and meaningful coaching, dedicated to helping your clients find fulfilment and self-realisation. You will develop genuine relational and ethical expertise, which will make you a valued and well-recognized Ikigai Coach.
